Service Description

DATES: June 28th OR July 27th Class Length: 1 day for 2hrs **We will have more sessions in Aug to be posted on July 16th.** There are prerequisites that you need to finish BEFORE coming to the online session.​​ Step 1: Complete the Pre-Work Use the following link to access the Sustainability Online Classroom: https://form.jotform.com/232875536099167 This form contains all the pre-work requirements. Submit the completed form at least 24 hours before your scheduled class. Step 2: Scouts will attend the online zoom session using this link that is emailed to them the day they sign up for the session. Participation during the session is required. Step 3: Receive Your Blue Card If both Step 1 and Step 2 are successfully completed, you will receive your Blue Card as a digital PDF. The Blue Card will be sent to the parent email address provided within 7-10 days after the class. Camera Requirement All participants MUST have their cameras on during online sessions. If you are unable to turn your camera on, you will not be allowed to stay in the session and will need to rebook at your parent/guardians expense. Requirement Information: Scouts can complete requirements 1, 8a, and 8b during the session. Scouts will complete requirements 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8c, and 9 after the session. IMPORTANT: Prior to registering, the Scout should have a discussion with their unit leader to obtain approval to participate Blue Card: Upon completion of the course, Scouts will submit the workbook after the session to the email provided during the session. Once all requirements are marked as complete, we will issue a digital blue card signed by our merit badge counselor. The Online Classroom has changed. The Requirement options on the online classroom are to be filled out regardless of the course you attended.

Cancellation Policy

**Merit Badge Session Policies** To ensure compliance with updated guidelines and maintain the interactive and engaging nature of our merit badge sessions, the following policies will be implemented: 1. Camera-On Policy **Camera Requirement**: - All Scouts must have their cameras on during the entire merit badge session. **No Exceptions**: - If a Scout does not have their camera on or does not have access to a functioning camera, they will not be allowed to participate in the session. **Rescheduling and Fees**: - Parents/guardians will be responsible for rebooking and paying for a new session if their Scout is unable to comply with the camera-on requirement. **Purpose**: - This policy is designed to ensure Scouts actively participate in discussions and meet the interactive standards required for merit badge completion. 2. Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy **Rescheduling or Cancelling a Session**: - To reschedule or cancel a scheduled merit badge, please make sure to do so at least 4 days in advance by using the login section on the website in the top right or the app provided at this link: http://wix.to/38CABtM?ref=cl **Late Cancellations**: - Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 4 days before the session will not be accommodated, and you will be responsible for rebooking and paying for a new session.
