Service Description

DATES: May 11th or 27th Class Length: 1 day for 2hrs **We will have more sessions in June to be posted on May 16th.** ***THERE ARE NO PREREQUISITES*** Requirement Information: Scouts can complete requirements 1, 2, 6a, and 7 during the session. Scouts will complete requirements 3, 4, and 5 after the session. Requirement #4: With the approval of your parents or guardians and your merit badge counselor, decide on and carry out a project that you would do around the home that would benefit your family. Submit a report to your merit badge counselor outlining how the project benefited your family - Do Not Complete this before the merit badge session. You need approval from the counselor. Requirement #6a: Discuss with your merit badge counselor how to plan and carry out a family meeting. - Do Not Complete this before the merit badge session. You need to talk with the merit badge counselor before the meeting. IMPORTANT: Prior to registering, the Scout should have a discussion with their unit leader to obtain approval to participate. Blue Card: Upon completion of the course, Scouts have six months to complete and submit the remainder of the requirements to the online classroom after the session. Once all requirements are marked as complete, we will issue a digital blue card signed by our merit badge counselor.
